Dear Friends and Family of Larissa,
I am a previous classmate of Larissa from her time at McLean High School. We were friends freshman year — I spent so much time with her in classes and going to her home after school etc. She was a new student to our school and we connected well when she first moved to Virginia. I remember going to her home, meeting her family. Though we did not stay friends for the entire 3 years she was at McLean, I still remembered her as a warm loving person — full of life. She was a great adviser to me during the time we were friends.
I came across this website totally by accident, and was SHOCKED that she’s gone. She was a wonderful person, I’m so sorry for your loss. And I’m sorry for what her students have lost as well, because she clearly was “being herself” — passionate and compassionate in her job, and her students loved her.
