Participant Blogs
Saturday, February 3rd, 2007I’ve done a quick read over participant blogs and I’m excited to see the diverse ways with which you have approached creating your sites and posts. I’ll be spending time looking more closely at your entries this weekend so keep an eye out for those comments. Also, make sure to check back here regularly for course updates and information.
I’ll be adding links and resources to the various pages on the right hand side of this site so make sure to visit those pages regularly as well.
Some good news. The CLIP Podcast has been chosen as a finalist in the Podcast Peer Awards, in the Education category. This is an award voted on by podcasters, so although I’m not a big ‘awards’ type person, I do appreciate the recognition from the podcasting community given that a majority of my listeners are non-podcasters, and considering CLIP is a niche show. Mark Blevis of Electric Sky and co-host of the Canadian Podcast Buffet also named CLIP as one of the 10 most underrated shows.
I’m sharing this information with you as another way into thinking about the social networks and spaces for thinking together provided by podcasts and blogs, and as a point for conversation regarding the exchange of ideas across time and space. I recommend checking out MF EDOOMCATOR’s first post and the YouTube segment on trendsetting as it plays with the notion of social networking in a very humorous way.
Have a great weekend.
