Bernadine I like the way you disrupted more tradiitional science teaching practice with the idea of using Multi-modal texts in the science curriculum from a critical literacy perspective. Not an easy task but one that could provide some very rich experiences.
I very much appreciated your description of students as producers of knowledge and the ways in which we can use everyday text relevant to science curriculum as a way of creating space for this knowledge making.
