Jessica, you raise a very Important topic regarding losing touch with student needs. This can certainly happen so easily if we don’t keep our students’ inquiry questions at the fore.
I am with you regarding the issues surrounding and over valuing on testing and especially high-stakes testing.
Through your audio it is clear that you have grown a theoretical tool kit focused on critical literacy!
