We discussed the book "A is for Aunty" in class and I just cant stop thinking about how fun, interesting, motivating and multi-cultural this book is. I can see myself developing alphabet books based on different themes like different games, where f is for football or on cultures where T is for Thanksgiving. This book is in itself an activity for children to work on. I am from India, and instead of talking of things Indians cant relate to, I could do R is for Republic Day and show children the live parade with everyone dancing and performing in front of the President. This book removes any cultural biases and is meant to be adapted to any environment in the world. I am mesmerized by this fascinating book. I can see how easy and meaningful it will be for the child to learn the alphabets.

Hi Vivian, It was great meeting you at PAB. I just subscribed to your podcast but I'm on vacation on dial-up so I'll have to wait until I get home to download the episodes. Congratulations on the show. Take care, - Bruce
