Hello and welcome to yet another AndyCast. This is show #39 and for those of you on the Gregorian calendar, this is show # Henry.

How about the new opening? Huh! Isn’t it a beaut. Thank you to the amazing Geoff Smith for that. That guy totally Rocks!

The warning up front end was prompted by several listeners’ comments to me about beverage contents spew-age and I just
want to be a responsible podcaster…so please do refrain from imbibing any sorts of liquids for the duration of the show.

Yess…yess…I know…I know…it’s been a while since we’ve spent some time together…I’ve been thinking about you..honest…my motto’s always been,
if you can’t can’t bring your “A” game to the show, then f…….forget about it…trying to keep this show in the PG realm…can’t afford to alienate any listeners…
unlike those DinkyCasters …..

Thanks to everyone for your cards and letters and e-mails of encouragement…and no…I didn’t have a kidney transplant, nor did I get liposuction or a
stomach staple…just good old fashioned lack of time..husband, father, employee, familial 24 hour tech support slash web monkey…and oh yeah…there was that trip to Hawaii…sorry…I know there are several of you out there seething and loathing me at this moment….but…you’ll get over it…

So hopefully we’re back on track to bring you this fine, high quality, comedy podcast on a weekly schedule.

A rubber baby buggy bumper kinda show this time….a well done uninformed biography we’ll check out the latest AndyCast poll, introduce the new Pony Tales segment and we’ll have a little tribute to Dave and Isabelle over at Broca’s Area who recently retired from their podcast.

Broca Tribute

I had the opportunity to meet Dave and Isabelle at the Podcasters Across Borders meet up slash conference this past summer. Unfortunately, I was unable to seize that opportunity simply because I hadn’t heard of them prior to the meet up. Since then, I’ve listened, enjoyed and commented on their thought provoking podcast as well as exchanged a few e-mail, a few comments on message boards, had a couple instant messages and a couple of virtual beers with Dave and Isabelle and although their decision to retire is met with mild sadness, I felt it necessary not to mourn their loss, but to celebrate their success.

Now, in honour of the retirement of Dave and Isabelle from the Broca’s Area podcast , I re-present their Uninformed Biography.
